When Laura’s first grandchild, AJ, was born, she started knitting 
baby hats to keep his head warm during Boston’s cold winters. 
Soon, she had more hats than any one baby could use,
and a new business was born.  Designing and knitting hats
for newborns and older children,
Laura brings color and flair to any child’s winter outfit.

	Laura’s second grandchild, Alexandra was born in December 2004, just in time to model Louie Girl's crochet cotton baby hats.
